Children can have loads of fun on our mini zip line, which runs approximately 50 meters from the top to the bottom of our lawn! Listen to the squeals of delight as they zoom from one end to the other then do it all over again!
Manyatta building is a great way for children to immerse themselves in the Maasai culture and learn how a traditional boma is made, starting with gathering the soft sticks that are intertwined to create the structure. Once this has been done, it’s time to get messy and mix the mud, using soil, grass and water, which all kids love doing! The stick structure is then covered with several layers of mud and then left to dry in the sun. The roof is last and can be made from almost anything including sticks, reeds, tin or anything that will lay flat. A fun, engaging and educational activity for all ages!
When the wind is blowing through the valley, it’s the perfect place for kids to release the colourful kites into the air and let them flutter high above the acacia trees. Watch them soar then twist and swirl, as they maneuver the kites high above. There’s no better fun!
Enjoy a selection of teas or your hot beverage of choice, with a scrumptious spread of cakes and biscuits while gazing out over the breathtaking landscape of Siana Conservancy.
As you step off the plane, our expert Maasai guides are there to welcome you with a big smile. You will be escorted to our Spirit of the Masai Mara 4x4 safari vehicles, where you will be given a refreshing drink before being transferred to the lodge.
